Easter 2012

We switched it up (just a bit) this Easter. Instead of taking the eggs that the Easter Bunny left for the girls over to Grandma and Grandpa's, we just had the Easter Bunny hide the eggs at our house. Since Colie and Buddy are too old for eggs, it worked out perfectly.

And since the Easter Bunny didn't want to wake up in the wee hours of the morning, he just hid them in the house to make it easier on all of us. ;)
The Easter Bunny took it easy this year since the girls just got Valentine's presents and their birthdays are just around the corner. He filled the eggs with a bunch of erasers (not just plain ol' erasers...the animal shaped ones...the new fad.)
Ever notice how Isabel is always looking at someone else's stuff...it's all the same stuff!

Next it was off to Gran Gran and Grandpa Greg's for lunch and Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner...

So , for anyone who wonders why I take SO many pictures of the same thing...this is just one example...

3 pictures in a row and each girl had to make a funny face!
It's like they conspire against me or something.
Nice try, girls...I think the mess ups are pretty adorable!

Time for another Easter egg hunt...

Flying a kite with very little wind is difficult, but Kaitlin and Sophie sure didn't mind.

My favorite part of Easter was asking the girls why we were celebrating the day. They all took their turn answering and this is what we got, "Because Jesus died on the cross and rose again, he wore a crown of thorns, for us, so we didn't have to, because he loves us."
I couldn't have said it more perfectly.

Another wonderful Easter!
