Playing "Ring Around the Rosies"Isabel and Nicole has the day off from school and work so we spent the day at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Wow, we saw a lot of stuff! The girls all had so much fun running around checking out all the fish, starfish, sea horses, sea otters, sea lions, seals, sharks, sting rays (and other kinds of rays). We also saw a really cool sea turtle and a bunch of Lorikeet birds. Isabel and Sophie were quit brave and fed the birds some nectar out of little plastic cups. One bird even landed on Beli's arm! She was so excited. Katie didn't really like the bird section-it was too loud. (She's been real sensitive to noise lately. Could be because Sophie is so darn loud!!!) It's fun to watch Isabel, Katie, Sophie and Adelyn all interact together and experience things in totally different ways!

ReplyDeleteHa! You guys went into see the birds also! They sure are cute, but man! They can startle you when they land! And great pics of the girls! The aquarium is one of my favorite places!
