A Day at the Discovery Center 8/4/09

Climbing the rock wall.

Hanging out in the hurricane thingy.

Playing in a puppet show.

Sophie decided to lay down in the fake pebble spot...that's what we get for taking her during nap time.

Taking a quick break from playing on the yellow submarine.

Thanks for ditching work today, Daddy! We had a blast!!!

Jamie played hookie today...shhhh...so we took the girls down to the Discovery Science Center. They loved it, of course. That is the best place to take kids that are 2, 4 & 6. The girls played on everything and they didn't need much help, so Jamie and I were able to just walk around and watch them. It's a great place! We didn't spend too much time outside on the dinosaur this time...it was 94 degrees...kinda hot! But there was a lot of new stuff inside; robots, Smokey Bear and forest stuff, and hockey stuff. The girls still love the submarine. I think they spent half an hour playing in it.

To those of you who plan on going to The Cube, check online to see when the field trips are going to be there. I found it last night so we were able to avoid 250 kids by going after 2 pm when all the field trips were over. Phew!!!
