Tired girls...crashed before we even left the park!
Four years ago, another one of our "best days of our lives" occurred! After a couple false alarms, our little Kaitlin Faith was born shortly after 5 pm. (Although she was ready to come out at 4 pm, but I was instructed to hold her in until Dr. Marc could make it to the hospital!) When she came into this world, she had a head full of the craziest hair we had ever seen and she was sooo quiet. Even the nurses had a hard time getting her to cry; but once she did cry, she didn't stop for at least 2 years! She has always been a joy to have around though-so lovable and kind!
On to the events of our day...we spent the day and evening (8 hours to be exact) at Disneyland! We had to go to get Katie's free ticket, which was convenient because she requested that we only go to Disneyland for her birthday! We used her free ticket and the gift cards from Beli & Jamie's birthday to buy Katie her first annual pass. She was beyond excited!!!
Disneyland was kind of crowded, but we were still able to get on a bunch of rides...lots that spun us around and around. I was nauseous by the end of the night! Thanks to Uncle Eric and his great discount and all the money the girls got for their birthdays, we left the park with a bunch of souvenirs, including 2 stuffed Dumbos, 1 stuffed Marie, a Wal-E toy, 2 Tinkerbell dolls AND the huge Sleeping Beauty castle that Katie-poo has been asking for for at least a couple years! We had a GREAT night!
