For the past few years, our Valentine's Day has become a family event...and we kinda like it that way. Besides, it's a day to spend with the person/people you love, right?
Our day started with Kaitlin coming in to our room, tapping me on the shoulder, waking me up and asking if they can open their presents yet. After breakfast and presents, we headed to the sports park. As we were getting ready to got to the park, I realized we did this last year too...except it was opening day for the sports park! One year later there is finally a little bit of shade from the little trees...which we greatly appreciated today. Only in California, and probably Hawaii, can you go to the park in February and get a tan! Yes, the girls have tan lines...it was over 80 degrees...it was a beautiful day!
We capped off our Valentine's Day with El Cholo for dinner and a trip to Target! It was perfect...we wouldn't want it any other way!
We love a good picnic at the park.
That scooter sure gets a lot of use!
A very peaceful day at the park!
Lots of bubbles!!!
I love when she tucks her hair behind her ears.
Wow, looks like Christmas over there! The shirts are super cute! We'll have to bring bubbles to the park next time. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteOh ya....tan lines? Really? That's insane!
