Kaitlin was awarded the Student of the Month for the school today. The theme for December was "Caring"...and I don't think Kaitlin could have been picked for a more appropriate theme!
She was pretty surprised when she saw Jamie, Sophie and me walk up this morning. We were a couple minutes late (thank you, Jamie ;), so Mrs. Allen sent an email, left a voicemail and sent me a text to make sure we didn't miss the flag assembly. (What a thoughtful teacher!) We've known about her award since the last flag assembly, so I had to keep the secret for more than a month...it was difficult! Kaitlin looked so proud as she sat down after she received her award, flag and school bracelet.
Way to go, Katie-poo! We are so proud you are our daughter!!!
