Today, the girls and I joined Nicole and her family at Splash for her Family Fun Week. Splash is a mini water park in La Mirada that is perfect for little kids. The girls had a lot of fun! We got there early and got great seats by the water (thankfully Nicole had been there before so she knew what to expect). The girls were not too interested in the slides (they tried them, but they got "too wet"-imagine that!) but they had fun swimming around in the water and floating in the Lazy River. (Thanks, Lori, for helping me out!) The Lazy River was my favorite too! Sophie was very cautious today, a rarity. Maybe next time she'll get into the fun a little more. The water was pretty cold, but it was 93 degrees out, so it felt good. We will definitely be going back again...maybe even getting passes next summer! It was a lot of fun!!!
