Thanks to my upcoming birthday and my present from Gran Gran, we all have our Disneyland passes again! Kaitlin's had expired on her birthday so we haven't been able to go since August. Sophie still doesn't have a pass, but as long as we stick her in the back of the double stroller, no one ever asks how old she is...for now!
On Saturday, Isabel had her first Brownies activity...a Song A Long...where the girls got to learn a bunch of the Girl Scout songs. Since it was only an hour long and in Westminster, we figured it was a perfect night to go to Disneyland afterwards.
The girls really like the Haunted Mansion when it's all decorated with the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff...and apparently so does everyone else in Southern California. The park was packed! People crawling everywhere. But it was still fun to get on a few rides and to just see the smiles on the girls' faces! For some reason, the fireworks are now on at 8:30 (are fireworks "on"???) so it worked out perfectly that we were able to watch them as we stood in the (very long) Haunted Mansion line.
| I'm not quite sure why Kaitlin looks so scared in all these pictures! |
We hit up the Winnie the Pooh ride...twice. And stopped for some honey pot pictures then topped our night off with a spin on It's A Small World (since there is hardly ever a line on that one) and some churros. Either $3.50 is really expensive for a churro, or I'm just getting old and cheap!
| Such a silly girl! |
I love how happy Disneyland makes the girls! To them, it really is the happiest place on earth!
