Apparently, we only pierce ears on patriotic holidays...and when I don't have my camera with me (which is SO rare).
But finally, Isabel decided she was ready to get her ears pierced while we were checking out all the Memorial Day sales at the mall. Usually, she's just tricking us, but she actually went through with it this time...and so did Sophie! Sophie didn't even have to think about it...we asked if she wanted to do it, she said yes, and that was it!
They both said it hurt more than I told them, but there were no tears and Sophie just jumped a little when it happened...mostly because the two girls weren't quite in sync.
And Isabel is now wondering why she didn't do it almost 2 years ago when Kaitlin got her ears pierced. Good lesson though...things that are scary are not always as bad as you think they are going to be! I think it took me a long to to figure that one out too.

These next 6 weeks are going to go by so slowly...the girls can't wait to try on new earrings!
