Our little Star of the Week had to come home early today, just 45 minutes after I dropped her off at school. During centers, she was riding a scooter outside, she got off and put it down...then triped over it and hit her head on the curb next to the playground. She has a pretty big bump and bruise just above her temple. It was so sad, as soon as she saw me the tears just started flowing out of her eyes. It broke my heart!
When I picked her up, I made sure to tell the nurse that Katie-poo does fall a lot and bruises super easily...not to minimize the bump...but just so they are prepared. I probably should've put that on the emergency card!
