Since we just got home several hours ago, we decided to have a slightly less crazy 4th of July than usual. We skipped the pancake breakfast and fair in favor of sleep, but we went over to Grandpa Dean and Grandma Chris' house for the usual swimming...only to find out the party had been cancelled. (I haven't gotten around to catching up on my emails yet...)
No problem though. Grandma Chris and Grandpa Dean broke out some snacks and jumped right in the pool with the girls. It probably worked out better for them, since they got all the attention from the girls and they didn't have to play hostess to the rest of the family.
Isabel learned how to do canon balls...
And Kaitlin got a little braver with jumping in the pool...
But Grandpa Dean did the ultimate canon ball!
Then we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a little more swimming, a bbq and fireworks at Disneyland. (Not sure we'll be doing that one again...it was super crowded and really, no different from the Fullerton fireworks!)
Kaitlin showed off her swimming skills and jumped in without anyone there to catch her!

I see you went with solid red, white and blue tanks for the girls......haha! I went with a Kohl's outfit for Adelyn. Crafty Gymboree stuff next year :)
