Happy Birthday, Daddy!

It's the day Jamie has been dreading...his birthday. The guy just doesn't like getting older, but I think he's only getting better with age!

The girls and I all woke up early to have breakfast with Daddy before work and to give him his present. He didn't really want anything for his birthday, (except a new iphone but that doesn't come out til September) so the girls and I had to get creative this year. We ended up getting him an R/C Helicopter...which he LOVES! Since we gave it to him, he has played it non-stop. The only time he puts it down is when it needs to be charged. Glad we guessed right on the gift!

After dinner at El Cholo (where else would we go!), we headed off to Disneyland for a couple hours.
And since it was Daddy's birthday, he got to pick the rides we went on. So he chose Big Thunder Mountain...which the girls loved. They even started it out and finished it off with their hands up.
A little tip though...get the Fast Pass. The regular line took FOREVER!

And then...we got the girls to go on Pirates! And they all loved that one, too....yes, even Beli! We went on it 3 times and closed down the park. We even got our own boat on the last ride.
On our way past Indiana Jones, we heard a bunch of girls screaming and talking about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Turns out that they had just gone into the ride so we waited by the exit hoping to catch a glimpse of them. After 30+ minutes, no one else was getting off the ride, so they must've slipped out a back door. Such a bummer. I'm not sure who was more excited...the girls or Jamie and me. (He shares his birthday with Selena Gomez!)

The next night, we got together with all the family to celebrate Jamie's birthday again at The Old Spaghetti Factory and then back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dessert and more helicopter flying.
I'll use any excuse for a family photo op.

Happy Birthday, Hun!
We hope you had a wonderful birthday...you certainly deserve it.
Thanks for all that you do for our family.
We're lucky to have you.
We ♥ You!
