Another Disney Day

For some reason, Keri and I are having GREAT luck this summer with our Disneyland/DCA trips. We met up today thinking we would only go for a short time so the kids could play in the Bugs Land water play area, but the weather was so nice and cool until 2:00 that we ended up staying for 7 hours!

The new entrance to DCA is all done...no more annoying wall and long line to get in!

The girls wanted to take a picture with Waffles, Goofy's cat.

After watching the Disney Rocks show, riding Ariel (with a 10 minute line) and eating lunch (because we had been there a whole hour by this time), we checked out the Disney Junior show. I think Keri and I know this show word for word.

And then we headed to the Animation Studio...definitely one of my favorite things to do at DCA.
We all got a lesson on how to draw Goofy. And Sophie was the lucky recipient of the artist's drawing. Too cool!
I'm always so amazed at how well our pictures come out!

Then we rode Monster's Inc. and headed to the Bug's Land...
Where we hoped on Heimlich...a DCA must (because the line is always SO short)!

By now, the sun had broken through the clouds and the kids were all ready to play in the water!

You go...no, you go...no, you go...

This was an absolutely lucky shot! Sophie turned around for just a split second, with the best smile ever.

Luke was definitely the master of the water play area...he was fearless...and soaked!

After drying off, we headed over to Disneyland hoping to get on Pirates...except the line was the longest we had ever seen it. So we opted for some ice cream and a visit with Snow White, where we learned the parade was going to start in just 10 minutes...so, of course, we stayed!

And Sophie was officially done with pictures for the day!

The girls were lucky to get waves from many of the characters...Mickey, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Mr. Smee, Tinker Bell and....
 KEVIN!
It's so nice that he always looks as excited to see the girls as they are to see him!

Kevin then yelled over to Mary Poppins and she gave a wave to girls as well!
They were so excited because she's a tough one to get.

Another great, successful day at DCA and Disneyland.
It's days like this that remind me why we spend a fortune to get the passes.
I hope the girls never grow old of this place!
