I'm thinking we should make this a tradition...a trip to the zoo around Christmas time. We spent a very chilly day at the LA Zoo today, but this year was very different from last year...we finally got to see the elephants. The new elephant exhibit opened 2 weeks ago. It houses 3 beautiful elephants...and Katie-poo and I couldn't have been more excited to see them.

Sophie was so totally excited to be eating lunch right next to the lions!
And Katie-poo was so totally excited to see the elephants!
She read all the info and looked at all the pictures of the elephants.
And they were all so totally excited to spend their Christmas money on these huge friends!
It was a great day...we love the zoo.
We'll definitely be making this an annual thing!
