It's Snowing

...at Disneyland, anyway!

After the birthday party, Jamie and I spent the afternoon decorating the outside and inside of the house with Christmas decorations. Apparently, we don't have enough...according to the girls! After dinner, we decided, on the spur of the moment, to head to Disneyland to check out the Christmas fireworks and snow. So we rushed as fast as we could, parked in the Downtown Disney parking lot, took the Monorail into the park (super easy, by the way) and then ran to Small World just in time for the fireworks. Except, for some reason the fireworks were cancelled...so sad! But, on the bright side, it still snowed with Christmas music playing. We know it's fake snow, but there's still something a bit magical about it all while we stood next to a beautifully lit Small World.

Since we were there, we hopped on several rides...Nemo, Dumbo, Pinocchio & Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. By 11 pm, we were exhausted so we rode the Monorail back to our cars. Even though it was late and we were exhausted most of the time, this was probably our easiest trip to Disneyland ever. It just might be time for us to ditch our double stroller...the umbrella stroller worked just fine...and Sophie still looked young enough to pass for under 3!

  1. Funny we left as you arrived! They said something about the weather conditions as to why they didn't have the fireworks. ???
