I think this is my favorite event of the year...the Olinda Family Picnic.
It was cold and overcast this year, but it didn't matter...we all still had a great time!
The day started with the last flag assembly of the year. Isabel's Brownie troop donated a couple new flags to the school so they got to do a whole presentation at the beginning...it's a good thing we were on time!

Isabel was so nervous, but she did great...just as expected. She really hates doing things in front of people.
It's so nice that these two still play with each other at school.

The highlight of Isabel's day was Mrs. Allen drove her home from school. Sounds like something so simple, but it always so amazing how much impact these teachers have on the lives of their students. They even stopped for smoothies...Isabel was flying high with happiness!
