Staycation...Day 3

By our 3rd day of our staycation, we were all exhausted. We're wimps, we know! But, we had promised ourselves that we wouldn't just sit around and do nothing since Jamie took time off work. The perfect solution? The little Long Beach beach. The girls wanted to take Daddy to see it anyway...and I'm sure glad they did.

There was even less people there than the last time we went. It was so quiet and peaceful. The girls dug in the sand, built sand castle cities, swam in the water and chased birds for 3 hours without interruption.
Getting read to pounce on that poor, unsuspecting bird!
Here she goes again!
Collecting sea shells.
Busy making me a birthday cake. Later it turned into Daddy's birthday cake!
More sea shell collecting.

Beli reminds me of a baby giraffe in this one...spreading her long legs so she can bend over! =)
So nice to have Daddy at the beach with us! Lots of help building sand castles.
And sand castle cities...complete with a river, a bridge and butterflies.
Filling that river up!

Just as we were packing up all our stuff and walking off the beach, an elderly man walked out of his house right behind where we were playing all day, and offered to rinse the sand off girls' feet. It was such a simple but very kind thing to do.

Seriously, our life is SO fun! We are all SO blessed!
