Almost everyday for the past few/several years, we've driven by some "thing" being built along Carbon Canyon on the way to the girls' school. It hasn't always looked like a building and for the longest time we weren't sure what it was going to be. Then once it started looking like a building, I kept hoping it would turn out to be a Nature Center of some sort...and it is!
On Saturday, the Chino Hills State Park Discover Center finally opened it's doors...so, naturally, we had to check it out.
Katie-poo was just as excited to check the place out as I was...
After we looked around the Discovery Center for a few minutes, we headed over to Craig Park to check on our tree. It hasn't grown much, but it's still green!
It was a great day to be outside...so we hung out for a while and played in the dirt.
These two played with the Peppertree berries...

And then this one got hot and grumpy, which doesn't happen too often.
They jumped on all the rocks, until they fell...
And read the rattlesnake warnings.
And then they climbed trees.
And then we got hungry, so it was time to leave.
