It's Kaitlin's turn to be Star of the Week in her class!
Her poster says:

Her favorite color is purple.
Her favorite animal is the elephant.
Her favorite food is pasta.
Disneyland is her favorite place to go.
When she grows up, she wants to be a Zookeeper.
Her favorite thing to do is go swimming.
If she had one wish, she'd wish for a baby elephant.
I'm sensing an elephant theme here...
I should also mention, we had her parent-teacher conference this week. Mrs. Dixon discussed all her evaluations from the first 2 months of school and she has already met or exceeded all of the standards for 1st grade. And as of a month ago, she's reading at the 2nd grade, 2nd month level!
Way to go, Kaitlin...you make us so unbelievably proud to be your parents!
